About Sean

Sean's practice focuses on business and corporate law, with an emphasis on the representation of health industry clients in joint venture transactions, acquisitions and dispositions.  In recent years, Sean has served as outside deal counsel for two national health care services providers. Over the last eight years, he has negotiated and closed almost 80 joint ventures, acquisitions and dispositions. This experience has involved not only the negotiation of terms and drafting of the primary transaction documents, but also involved the negotiation and drafting of related professional services agreements, management services agreements, and real estate leases. In addition to that experience, Sean is a member of the Parker Hudson team serving as outside general counsel for the Georgia Alliance of Community Hospitals.  Prior to joining Parker Hudson, Sean served as a law clerk on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit for Chief Judge J.L. Edmondson.

In addition to his legal experience, Sean has significant experience in both the military and business communities.  Following his graduation from the United States Military Academy, Sean served as an Infantry Officer with the United States Army’s First Cavalry Division, attaining the rank of Captain and earning the Airborne badge and Ranger tab before leaving the service to attend law school and business school. Additionally, Sean gained unique and valuable business experience while serving as In-House Counsel, and then Vice-President and Project Manager, for the St. Joe Company, a publicly-traded Florida-based real estate developer.
