About Nirouz

Nirouz is an associate with the firm’s Health Industry practice group. She represents hospitals, health care systems, and individuals working in the health care industry.

Upon graduating law school, Nirouz served as a law clerk for the Honorable Abdul K. Kallon on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. After the clerkship, Nirouz served as a volunteer attorney with the trail chambers of the International Criminal Court.

During law school, Nirouz participated in the firm's summer clerkship program in 2012 and 2013.

Representative Engagements

  • Providing advice to clients on compliance under Section 1557 of The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, including assisting clients in preparing appropriate nondiscrimination notices and taglines, grievance procedures, and language access plans.
  • Advising major health systems in negotiations of vendor agreements.
  • Providing clients with advice on a range of Stark Law and Anti-kickback Statute issues, including assisting clients in development of compliance plans and internal audit procedures.
