About

John is an associate with the firm's Litigation practice group. His practice focuses on complex commercial disputes and litigation in both federal and state courts.

Prior to attending law school, John graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College with a Bachelor of Arts in Religion, and a minor in Anthropology. During this time, he studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain, was a Public Policy Intern at the Nelson A. Rockefeller Center, and gained valuable legal experience as a student intern at the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division Voting Section. While at the U.S. Department of Justice, he reviewed and researched proposed voting law changes covered under Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 to develop preclearance recommendations.

During law school, John served as a research assistant to University of Virginia Law Professor Kimberly Ferzan, investigating issues relating to the American Law Institute's reexamination of the Model Penal Code sexual assault provisions. John also participated in the firm's summer clerkship program in 2016.

In 2017, John graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law in Charlottesville and relocated to Atlanta. He enjoys listening to podcasts and exploring Atlanta's restaurants.
