As a former Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia, Emily has extensive experience with Qui Tam and False Claims Act investigations and litigation, complex civil litigation, and health care compliance. As an Assistant U.S. Attorney, Emily settled several multi-million dollar qui tam actions and was selected to chair the district’s efforts to combat elder fraud and abuse for the Department of Justice's Elder Justice initiative.  In addition, Emily has successfully defended the United States at trial and before the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Emily now uses her experience to help a broad range of health care providers with government investigations, compliance matters, internal investigations, and reimbursement issues.
