Wayne Hillis, Scott Zweigel and Brett Montroy won a FINRA arbitration on behalf of a broker-dealer client. The claimant brought claims for aiding and abetting fraud and breach of fiduciary duty arising out of an alleged Ponzi scheme orchestrated by the broker-dealer's customer. The claimant sought over $600,000 in alleged damages. After a four day arbitration hearing, the FINRA panel unaminously denied the claimant's claims in their entirety.
