Newsroom - September 2012

Caroline Talley participated as part of a panel presentation by the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers and its “Life in the Law Series” at the City Club of Buckhead. The topic was developing a niche practice area. Caroline was selected to speak based on her successful development of a practice in the highly-specialized area of employment benefits. As the chair of the Life in the Law Series subcommittee, Trish Treadwell moderated the panel and also spoke about the development of business in the franchise law area on behalf of franchisors. The next program in GAWL’s Life in the Law Series will be held on October 30, 2012 at Emory University’s Tull Auditorium and will address the controversial article published this summer in The Atlantic by Anne-Marie Slaughter regarding whether and why not women still cannot “have it all.”
