David O’Neal to Speak at the 2025 HCCA Atlanta Regional Healthcare Compliance Conference

David O’Neal will speak on “Cybersecurity Enforcement and Compliance,” at the Health Care Compliance Association (“HCCA”) Orlando Regional Conference.
The session will cover:
- Government enforcement related to cybersecurity preparedness, including the DOJ’s Civil Cyberfraud Initiative, and class actions lawsuits following a data breach
- Best practices for defending against enforcement actions arising from a data breach or cybersecurity preparedness
- Preventative measures to avoid False Claims Act exposure, regulatory fines, and penalties
The HCCA Regional Healthcare Compliance Conference will take place on January 31, 2025, in Orlando, Florida, and will cover current/hot topics as well as general education in compliance enforcement, regulatory requirements, best practices, and strategies for leading effective healthcare compliance programs.
