Parker Hudson Launches "Redefining Health Law," a Podcast with Tara Ravi
Jun 10, 2024
The Georgia Court of Appeals issued an opinion in favor of our client Atrium Health Navicent Peach affirming the reversal of a competing health system’s proposal to develop a freestanding emergency department in Bonaire, Houston County. Healthcare Partner Beth Kitchens argued this case in front of the Court of Appeals in April 2024.
We previously obtained a positive ruling from the Georgia Court of Appeals vacating an unfavorable Department of Community Health decision approving the project and remanding to the agency for reconsideration. The case went back before the Georgia Court of Appeals after we obtained a positive Superior Court ruling reversing the agency’s decision following remand.
The team representing Atrium Health Navicent Peach includes Parker Hudson lawyers Beth Kitchens, Grace Blood, and Armando Basarrate.
