ATLANTA, September 24, 2019 – Parker, Hudson, Rainer & Dobbs, LLP is pleased to announce that Tara Ravi has joined the firm as Counsel on the firm's Healthcare team. "We are excited to welcome Tara to the firm," said Parker Hudson's Managing Partner, Wayne Hillis. "Her unique combination of regulatory, transactional and enforcement experience will enhance our ability to assist clients navigating complex compliance and reimbursement matters."
"The addition of Tara deepens our bench and strengthens our healthcare regulatory and transactions practice," said Sean Fennelly, chair of the firm's Healthcare Practice. “She will be a great resource for our clients who need strong representation in reimbursement disputes and guidance on regulatory issues.”
Tara advises providers as they navigate through complex regulatory issues such as Medicare, Medicaid and managed care reimbursement and enrollment, as well as federal and state licensure. She helps clients identify, assess and mitigate risks and, when necessary, provides experienced counsel regarding investigations and self-disclosures to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General and the U.S. Department of Justice, among other agencies. Tara also helps healthcare organizations poised for expansion, with a special focus on solutions for efficient multi-jurisdictional growth across complex state and federal regulatory frameworks. She has previously served as lead regulatory counsel in notably large healthcare M&A and finance transactions (more than $5 billion in value in the past four years) and in several False Claims Act investigations. Tara has also developed compliance protocols and assisted in reimbursement matters for healthcare systems, medical device companies, oncology and long-term care providers, and infusion pharmacies.
“I am excited about the firm’s top-notch reputation and the scope and breadth of its healthcare capabilities and regulatory experience," said Ravi. “I look forward to working with the team and continuing the growth of the healthcare practice.”
