Overview
Artavia Warthen manages the recruiting pipeline and process for lateral candidates and the summer clerkship program. She works closely with the Diversity Committee to execute the firm's efforts to create and maintain an inclusive workplace. Additionally, Artavia works proactively with firm leadership to ensure the continued professional development of the firm's attorneys.
Artavia attended Mercer University School of Law where she became the first African American female president of the Student Bar Association. Her passion for helping others led her to serve as the Assistant Director of Admissions and Recruitment for Mercer University School of Law after graduation, where she mentored prospective and current law students. As time continued, she expanded her passion by moving into law firms' recruitment and diversity/inclusion spaces.
