John Malutinok is an associate in the Real Estate practice group. John represents real estate developers, business owners, and general contractors primarily in real estate transactional matters. He utilizes his broad experience to find innovative solutions to fit the needs of his clients in a wide variety of sectors.
John represents commercial real estate companies in acquisitions, dispositions, and development, including drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements and reviewing title and survey. He works with his clients to creatively draft operating agreements and membership interest purchases with complex equity and funding structures including joint ventures, preferred equity, multi-tiered waterfall, mezzanine lending, and public/private partnerships. John also assists clients with commercial leasing matters. His commercial real estate representation spans diverse asset classes including single-family developments, industrial and self-storage, retail, office, hospitality, restaurant, telecommunication, and mixed use developments.
Prior to joining Parker Hudson, John practiced with two well-known and highly regarded firms with a focus on transactional and litigation real estate matters. He also served as a law clerk for a federal magistrate judge. Before obtaining his law degree, John taught English for several years.
